Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Torrance, CA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | Onsite | Rotational Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting
- Participate in rotational on-call coverage, including weekday evenings (5:00 PM – 6:00 AM) and weekend shifts (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic EMR
- Float to additional facility locations within the state as operationally required
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Active ARRT certification required
- Active CNMT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Active California state license must be in hand prior to start — no pending licenses accepted
- LA Fire Card obtained within the last 30 days required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic EMR charting system
- Experience with rotational call schedules in a clinical setting
