Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel Contract)

Location

Sanford, North Carolina

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call As Needed

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed ICU/CCU unit serving patients of all ages
Manage high-acuity cases including respiratory failure and other critical diagnoses
Maintain patient ratios of 1:2–3 in accordance with unit standards
Document accurately and efficiently using Cerner EHR
Float to other units as needed, with a float ratio of up to 1:6
Participate in weekend and on-call coverage as required by unit needs

Required Qualifications

Active RN licensure meeting all education and credentialing requirements to practice in North Carolina
Minimum 1–2 years of ICU experience
Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale
Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with high-acuity critical care patient populations
Familiarity with Cerner EHR platform
