Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Nights)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in an 8-bed emergency department
- Manage a diverse patient population in a rural facility averaging 30 patients per 24-hour period
- Collaborate with Emergency Medicine boarded physicians available on-site 24/7
- Document patient care accurately and in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Prior emergency room nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a rural or critical access hospital setting
- Comfort working in a lower-volume, high-acuity trauma environment
