Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to ICU patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in a critical care environment.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC EMR.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Iowa license required; Compact license accepted.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association required.
- Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
