Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM (4x10s) | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | On-Call rotation required (6–8 calls per month, may include weekends)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room setting
- Scrub and/or circulate for a variety of surgical procedures including General, Trauma, Orthopedic, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic cases
- Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Accurately document patient care activities and surgical records using the Epic EMR system
- Participate in the on-call rotation, which may include weekend coverage (6–8 calls per month)
- Adhere to facility dress code and departmental policies throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR (required)
- Active ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Active Virginia RN State License or valid Compact License
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Broad specialty OR experience across multiple service lines including Trauma, Orthopedic, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic surgery
