Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (4x10's) | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a high-volume surgical services department
- Support a broad range of surgical specialties including General, Trauma, Orthopedics, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic procedures
- Assist with robotic-assisted surgical cases as part of the OR team
- Accurately document patient care and clinical data using the Epic EMR system
- Participate in on-call rotation, averaging 6–8 calls per month, which may include weekends
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
- Active Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR — required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties including Robotics, Trauma, Orthopedics, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms and associated instrumentation
