Job Title

Speech Language Pathologist

Location

Chula Vista, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services within an acute care setting
Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress using EPIC
Float to additional campus locations as needed based on patient care demands

Required Qualifications

Active California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — must be American Heart Association (AHA)
Proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
Minimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in speech-language pathology specialty
EPIC EMR experience within the last 6 months of work history

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
Combined EPIC and Cerner EMR experience
Travel healthcare experience with at least 1 year total and 6+ months of continuous travel leading up to submission
