MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology
Location
La Jolla, CA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Evening Shift (5x8 Hours, 14:00–22:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures within a Radiology/Cardiology setting
- Operate MRI equipment in accordance with established safety and imaging protocols
- Perform venipuncture as required per patient care and imaging needs
- Document and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC electronic health record system
- Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure quality patient care and efficient workflow
- Complete required onboarding modules prior to assignment start date
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification (MRI)
- Current CRT (California Radiologic Technology certificate)
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Valid California Venipuncture Certification
- Minimum 1.5 years of continuous MRI experience
- EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel technologist experience (minimum 1 year total travel experience, with 6+ months of continuous travel leading up to submission)
- Experience in both Radiology and Cardiology imaging environments
- Availability for same-day or next-business-day interviews
- At least one supervisory-level professional reference available upon submission
