Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Days)

Location

Gadsden, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Document patient information and clinical findings accurately using the facility's EMR system
Adhere to facility dress code, policies, and unit-specific protocols

Required Qualifications

Active Compact or Alabama RN License in good standing (no NURSYS hits)
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Travel candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner EMR system
Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
