Travel RN – Telemetry / Cardiovascular Prep & Recovery (CVPR)

Contract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | Monday–Friday, No Weekends, No Holidays, No Call
Key Responsibilities
- Admit patients and obtain comprehensive patient histories prior to cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures
- Initiate and manage intravenous (IV) access for procedural patients
- Monitor and recover patients following moderate sedation procedures
- Assess and monitor groin and wrist access sites post-catheterization and post-EP lab procedures, including applying and holding pressure on bleeding access sites as needed
- Provide care within an outpatient cardiovascular prep and recovery procedural area setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Missouri
- Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated ability to assess, monitor, and manage groin and wrist vascular access sites following cath and EP lab procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a cardiovascular procedural, cath lab recovery, or outpatient procedural nursing setting
- Familiarity with moderate sedation monitoring and post-procedure recovery protocols
