Job Title

Travel RN – Telemetry / Cardiovascular Prep & Recovery (CVPR)

Kansas City, Missouri

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Admit patients and obtain comprehensive patient histories prior to cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures
Initiate and manage intravenous (IV) access for procedural patients
Monitor and recover patients following moderate sedation procedures
Assess and monitor groin and wrist access sites post-catheterization and post-EP lab procedures, including applying and holding pressure on bleeding access sites as needed
Provide care within an outpatient cardiovascular prep and recovery procedural area setting

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Missouri
Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Demonstrated ability to assess, monitor, and manage groin and wrist vascular access sites following cath and EP lab procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in a cardiovascular procedural, cath lab recovery, or outpatient procedural nursing setting
Familiarity with moderate sedation monitoring and post-procedure recovery protocols
