Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Circulator)

Lapeer, MI

Contract | Days | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the circulating nurse during a wide range of surgical procedures including general elective and critical or life-saving surgeries
Monitor the surgical procedure and the patient's health and safety throughout the entire operation
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians to support a high-functioning surgical team
Assist with orthopedic procedures including hip, joint, and knee surgeries
Support a surgical department performing a high volume of surgical and endoscopy procedures annually

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an Operating Room setting
Experience with hip, joint, and knee surgical procedures
Active Michigan RN State License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience
Familiarity with advanced surgical techniques and evolving OR technologies
