Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and adhere to medication safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active PALS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from the past 12 months required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• Experience gained within a single facility location is preferred, though not required
