Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Hazleton, PA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Evening Shift (3x12 Hours, 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
Manage a patient ratio of up to 1:7 with a focus on quality and safety
Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to assess, plan, and implement patient care
Adhere to scheduling requirements including every other weekend and every other holiday

Required Qualifications

Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Proficiency with EPIC charting system
Must be available to complete pre-start compliance on time; no block scheduling can be accommodated
PA Fingerprinting required; must be completed within one week of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience as a first-time traveler welcome
Familiarity with high-volume emergency department environments
