Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift / 13-Week Contract)

Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed surgical unit with a patient ratio of 5–6:1
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Charge RNs and Licensed Nursing Assistants on the night shift
Support and assist with orthopedic surgical procedures including knee, hip, shoulder, and cervical cases, as well as bariatric patients
Operate unit equipment including Hoyer lifts and CPM machines
Float to Medical Oncology as needed per unit requirements

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience in a hospital setting
Current BLS certification
Ability to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Strong patient-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in orthopedics and/or bariatrics in addition to Med Surg
Familiarity with post-surgical patient care protocols
