Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Free Standing Emergency Department)

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed Free Standing Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
Perform IV starts and 12-lead EKG interpretation as part of routine patient assessment and care
Operate and monitor ventilators and point-of-care lab machines as needed
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Collaborate with a small night shift team consisting of one CNC and one RN to deliver safe, efficient emergency care
Rotate weekend shifts as part of standard scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience
Proficiency with IV insertion and 12-lead EKG performance and interpretation
Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) including rotating weekends
Experience with or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in a Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) environment
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in small, collaborative team settings
Experience with ventilator management and point-of-care lab equipment
