Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x10 Hours | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear stress tests in a high-volume outpatient and inpatient setting
- Conduct HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies
- Operate GE imaging equipment including SPECT CT (G850)
- Provide care and imaging services for adult and geriatric patient populations
- Participate in weekday on-call coverage twice per week (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
- Fulfill every-other-weekend on-call requirements (Saturday or Sunday, not both consecutive days) and holiday coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT (N) – Nuclear Medicine certification required
- Active ARRT (R) – Radiography certification required
- NMTCB certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
- Active Maryland state license required at time of submission
- Must maintain a permanent address 50 or more miles from the facility location
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with GE nuclear medicine equipment and SPECT CT technology
- Familiarity with high-volume nuclear cardiology and outpatient imaging workflows
- Comfort floating within specialty and to other units within scope as needed
