Physical Therapist - Inpatient

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (8-hour shifts, scheduled between 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite | 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient physical therapy services across a variety of units including Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Emergency Department, and Step Down, based on candidate experience and skillset
- Manage a caseload of approximately 7–8 patients per day
- Collaborate with an inpatient therapy team as part of a larger multidisciplinary care environment
- Adapt to rotating floor and patient assignments as determined during orientation
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient physical therapy experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience OR experience in a high-acuity facility required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working across multiple inpatient units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, or Step Down
- Comfort with floating assignments and adapting to varied patient populations
