Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite | Projected Start: July 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform charge nurse duties as needed on the night shift
• Circulate C-sections as required by unit needs
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health records system
• Collaborate with unit technicians and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification and AWHONN certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) in a relevant specialty
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
• Charge nurse experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
