Travel RN – ICU/Stepdown (IMC/PCU)

Plano, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an ICU/Stepdown (Telemetry) unit on a 6th floor inpatient setting
  • Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate or progressive care, including telemetry monitoring
  • Document all patient care activities accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Respond to call requirements as needed per unit policy
  • Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing demands

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU/Stepdown or PCU specialty experience
  • Active, unencumbered Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week with rotating weekend availability

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
  • Background in Telemetry, PCU, or Stepdown nursing environments
