Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | 36/40 Guaranteed Hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
  • Perform hourly safety rounding, bedside shift report, and sit-to-commit patient experience practices
  • Accurately document patient care activities using the Meditech documentation system
  • Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
  • Adhere to all facility dress code, attendance, and unit-specific guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of PCU or ICU experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Compliance with facility dress code including covered body art, no visible piercings beyond ears, natural nails only, and neat hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
  • Experience with Meditech documentation system
