Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | 36/40 Guaranteed Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Perform hourly safety rounding, bedside shift report, and sit-to-commit patient experience practices
- Accurately document patient care activities using the Meditech documentation system
- Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
- Adhere to all facility dress code, attendance, and unit-specific guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of PCU or ICU experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Compliance with facility dress code including covered body art, no visible piercings beyond ears, natural nails only, and neat hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
