Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, including dysrhythmia identification, using bedside monitors equipped with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Work every other weekend as a non-negotiable scheduling requirement
• Utilize Epic electronic health records system for all documentation and charting
• Operate within a unit supported by 24/7 house supervisor coverage, with leadership available by phone during off-shift hours

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to commit to every-other-weekend scheduling requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a community hospital setting
• First-time travel nurses will be considered
