Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Telemetry/Med-Surg unit with patient ratios of 4–5:1
• Monitor patients using a GE Telemetry system and document care accurately within the Meditech EMR
• Perform IV and Foley catheter insertions and assist with chest tube removal procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and sitters across day and night shifts
• Take initiative in patient care decisions and contribute positively to unit workflow and team dynamics

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Outgoing, team-oriented personality with a willingness to take initiative
