Travel RN – NICU (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Level III NICU with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 4:1 depending on acuity
- Operate and monitor advanced equipment including oscillators, ventilators, bubble CPAP, central lines, and ABG machines
- Perform and assist with Level III procedures such as pneumo taps, intubations, chest tubes, PIV placement, and blood draws from arterial, heel, and venous sites
- Administer medications, blood products, and pump feeds while maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR system
- Attend high-risk deliveries as a NICU representative and support neonatal transitions and handoff communications
- Collaborate with a team of experienced staff, charge nurses, and providers in a fast-paced, acuity-driven environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital NICU RN experience
- Level III or Level IV NICU experience required
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- PICU experience
- Current PALS certification
