Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting during night shift hours
  • Float within an assigned zone to various care settings including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry based on facility needs
  • Adapt to varying acuity levels mid-shift as required, including CNA or Sitter capacity during low census periods to ensure hours are met
  • Maintain readiness to travel to any location within the assigned zone, which covers up to a 60-mile radius from the zone's city center
  • Participate in a required week of in-person orientation, including any modules that may begin remotely

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Utah
  • Current ICU clinical experience
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to obtain housing within a feasible distance to support floating throughout the full 60-mile zone
  • Must be physically present in state for the full week of orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in PCU/Stepdown or Med-Surg Telemetry settings in addition to ICU
  • Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated ability to adapt to multiple care environments
