ED Boarder Registered Nurse

Contract | Nights | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend | Every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ED boarder patients across multiple care areas, including hallway spaces and treatment bays
• Navigate several different care areas to retrieve patients, medications, and supplies as needed
• Manage a fast-paced, high-turnover patient environment with professionalism and clinical efficiency
• Adapt quickly to a non-traditional care setting with constant activity and varying patient acuity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department environment
• Comfort with providing care in non-traditional settings, including hallways and shared spaces

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in Medical-Surgical or Emergency Department nursing
• Experience managing high patient turnover and variable workloads
