Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population in a Medical Surgical / Remote Telemetry setting
• Manage a patient caseload with diagnoses including diabetes, post-operative care, wound vac management, and bariatric care
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5–6 on a 33-bed unit with an average daily census of 28
• Document and communicate patient information using SBAR methodology within the Epic electronic health record system
• Float within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• Fulfill call requirements including every other weekend, holidays as required, and relief charge responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a valid Compact state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required
• Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays per assignment requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Medical Surgical or Remote Telemetry unit
• Familiarity with bariatric and wound vac patient care
• Experience using SBAR communication framework in a clinical setting
