Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using GE cardiac monitoring equipment and manage critical drip infusions via Hospira IV pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Expanse EMR
• Float to Med/Surg, ICU (border patients), and Emergency Department (ED holds) as staffing needs require
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and LNAs, adjusting to census-based staffing flex

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact RN License required at time of submission; active New Hampshire RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a hospital setting
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIAH certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and pacemaker patient care experience
• Prior experience within the HCA healthcare system
