Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio across a 30-bed unit with additional hall bed capacity
• Perform and assist with procedures including IV placement, blood draws, NIH stroke assessments, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Operate and monitor equipment including IV pumps, cardiac monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and rapid infusers
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, paramedics, and LVNs across day and night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Demonstrated compassion and empathy in patient interactions
• Strong team-player mentality with ability to thrive in a high-volume emergency setting
