Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 8-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living and functional skills within a rehabilitation setting
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current NBCOT certification
• Experience working in a rehabilitation or acute care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital environment
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary team-based care models
• Experience treating a diverse patient population with varying diagnoses
