Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts); occasional overtime possible due to add-ons

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including general, cardiac, and PET studies
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment in accordance with facility protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following established safety and regulatory guidelines
• Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in the medical record system
• Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to ensure quality diagnostic imaging outcomes
• Adhere to all radiation safety standards and infection control policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Nuclear Medicine
• Active, unrestricted Ohio nuclear medicine technologist license in hand at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/23 and forward)
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• No open background case hits; facility does not accept any license hits
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty from assignments worked within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in general, cardiac, and PET nuclear medicine imaging
• Prior travel or contract assignment experience in a high-volume imaging environment
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
