Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Every Other Weekend | Onsite | Guaranteed 36 Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a NICU setting with a patient ratio of approximately 3:1
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including GE bedside monitors, Giraffe and Panda Warmers, phototherapy lights, and feeding/medication pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic documentation systems
• Assist with procedures including line placement, intubation, and circumcision
• Deliver family-centered care in collaboration with an in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, OB hospitalist, and anesthesiologist available 24/7
• Float to the Newborn Nursery as needed per unit staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital or NICU specialty experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for infants requiring CPAP or mechanical ventilation
• Experience with central line management
• Stabilization experience and/or attendance at deliveries
• Background in developmental care practices
