Travel Registered Nurse – ICU (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every 3rd Weekend | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care and progressive care unit, including management of ventilator-dependent patients
• Administer and monitor IV drips and IV sedation in accordance with unit protocols
• Manage post-procedure recoveries after hours on an occasional basis
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 or 3:1 depending on patient acuity, with up to 1:5 ratio when floating to MS/PCU overflow
• Float to Medical-Surgical Telemetry as needed per unit staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 1–2 years of critical care experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Valid driver's license required
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients and managing complex IV sedation protocols
• Familiarity with progressive care or medical-surgical telemetry environments
