Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift / 13-Week Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform procedures including IV placement, blood draws, NIH stroke scale assessments, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Operate and monitor equipment including IV pumps, cardiac monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and Belmont Rapid Infusers
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, paramedics, and LVNs across night shift operations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and ability to function as a strong team player in a fast-paced emergency environment
