Travel RN – NICU (Night Shift)
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients in a 4–8 bed unit, maintaining patient ratios of typically 3:1 or less depending on acuity and census
- Perform IV starts, lab draws, and medication administration
- Maintain UVC/UAC lines and assist providers with intubation, chest tube placement, umbilical line placement, and circumcision
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and operate specialized equipment including Alaris pumps, Medfusion pumps, giraffe beds, panda warmers, traditional ventilators, and phototherapy lights
- Document patient care accurately using Centricity Perinatal and Meditech Expanse EMR systems
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience in a hospital setting
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Kentucky required at time of submission
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- STABLE certification
- Experience as part of a delivery team
