Contract | Travel | Days – 3x12 shifts | 36 hours per week guaranteed | 13-week assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans within a combined Medical Surgical ICU and Stepdown unit
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition changes to the appropriate care team members
• Serve as primary coordinator across all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Float to other areas of the unit as needed based on census and acuity

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical ICU or related setting
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Flu vaccination required for assignment dates falling between November 1 and April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Familiarity with Spacelab bedside monitoring equipment
• Experience in a combined ICU and Stepdown unit environment
