Travel RN – Neuro Med Surg (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: September 15, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Neuro Med Surg unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including EEGs, EKGs, and bladder scanning
• Operate and document within a Meditech EMR system
• Utilize Sara Steady equipment and adhere to unit safety and mobility protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit scheduling
• Collaborate within a team nursing model alongside charge nurses, RNs, and patient care technicians

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current and valid RN state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Significant experience in a Neuro Med Surg or Stroke specialty setting strongly preferred
• More than 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Completion of or familiarity with Stroke Education programs
