Registered Nurse – Progressive Care (PCU/IMC/Stepdown)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown specialty
- Required: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Required: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an intermediate care environment
- Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations transitioning from intensive care
