Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Includes Weekends and Holidays as Needed | No On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Perform assessments, triage, and interventions appropriate to emergency patient populations
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
- Float between campuses (Downtown and Northeast) as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rate; local candidates within 60 miles will be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume acute care emergency department
- Familiarity with floating between multiple campuses or units
- Strong adaptability and ability to work effectively during high-census periods
