Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 14-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 10-bed telemetry observation unit for patients undergoing diagnostic rule-out stays, typically 24–48 hours in duration
• Monitor and manage a varied medical patient population, with occasional overflow surgical patients
• Function autonomously with strong telemetry assessment and monitoring skills; no medication drips administered on this unit
• Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday rotation as required
• Fulfill on-call requirements of 5–6 night shifts per 6-week period (22:00–07:00 on-call window)
• Float within scope to Medical/Surgical Telemetry as needed to meet facility demands

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
• ACLS certification required
• BCLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
• Experience with Epic or Cerner electronic health record systems
• Finalized requested time off must be submitted with application; no RTO additions will be accepted after signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–3 years of telemetry experience preferred, particularly for first-time travelers
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced observation setting
