Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within a Skilled Nursing Unit (19-bed unit) located within a hospital setting
• Cover possible acute care assignments in a joint connection unit as needed
• Treat a variety of patient diagnoses across all floors of the hospital
• Collaborate with PTAs and rehab aides as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Participate in department-specific orientation prior to independent practice
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements (Royal Blue Scrubs)

Required Qualifications

• Active West Virginia Physical Therapist License, Temporary Physical Therapist License through the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists, or a valid Physical Therapist Compact License
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in skilled nursing and/or acute care settings
• Ability to cover all floors of the hospital as assigned
• Availability to work weekends as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing unit (SNU) within a hospital-based setting
• Experience treating orthopedic or post-surgical patient populations
• Familiarity working alongside PTAs and rehab aides in a team-based environment
