Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive emergency department nursing care across a 50-bed unit
  • Manage a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 in a fast-paced ED environment
  • Operate and interpret EKG and cardiac monitoring equipment, as well as blood glucose devices
  • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, EMTs, and Medics
  • Communicate clearly with staff and providers to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • PALS certification required
  • TNCC certification required
  • ENPC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Level I or Level II Trauma center experience
  • Stroke program experience
  • Energetic, collaborative personality with strong interpersonal communication skills
