Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting during night shift hours
• Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients with complex medical needs
• May float to other ICU floors as needed
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Care for patients including those with infectious conditions such as COVID-19
• Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, including working designated major holidays as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — no license hits accepted
• Minimum 2 years of SICU or ICU experience
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Experience floating across multiple ICU unit types
• Comfort and experience caring for COVID-positive patients
