Registered Nurse – Respiratory / Medical-Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend Required | No Call Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Respiratory unit, including care for patients with respiratory illness.
• Float occasionally to various Medical-Surgical units, which may include Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings accurately throughout each shift.
• Document all patient care activities using Epic EMR with proficiency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of current or recent Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry (competency will be assessed on day one).
• Current proficiency in Epic EMR — must be documented; refresher training or on-site orientation to Epic is not available for this role.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for respiratory or pulmonary patient populations.
• Familiarity with Medical-Surgical subspecialties such as Oncology, Stroke, Cardiac, or Wound Care.
