Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for post-operative recovery patients transitioning from the OR
• Manage oncology med/surg overflow patient population
• Float as needed within scope of practice
• Administer and monitor respiratory support including nasal cannula oxygen therapy
• Maintain compliance with facility fingernail policy — artificial nails are strictly prohibited in all patient care departments

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Candidates must not be currently employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with oncology or med/surg overflow patient populations
• Post-operative or PACU recovery experience
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
