Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Stroke Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Stroke Unit during night shift hours
• Assess, monitor, and document neurological status and stroke-related conditions for assigned patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain compliance with all applicable state and facility regulatory requirements, including AHCA standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida state RN license or multistate compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience required
• Stroke unit experience required; NIHSS and stroke experience must be documented in submission
• AHCA compliance required for all Florida travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Stroke setting
• Familiarity with stroke protocols and neurological assessment tools
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into an established unit team
