Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend Required | Projected Start: 08/31/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Telemetry unit with a standard ratio of 4:1 (with cath recovery) and a maximum ratio of 6:1–7:1
• Monitor patients using remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps; document care using the Meditech system
• Assist with or support procedures performed on the unit including chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• Apply knowledge of chest tube management and dysrhythmia recognition in the care of telemetry patients
• Adhere to unit-specific policies including the Telemetry Monitoring Policy and Stroke Policy
• Float to Ortho/Med-Surg as needed per unit floating policy (agency staff float first)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Kentucky
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the scheduling requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with remote telemetry monitoring systems
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation
• Prior experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and chest tube management
