Travel RN – Cardiac Med/Surg (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Med/Surg unit during overnight shifts
• Monitor and assess cardiac and medical/surgical patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Tennessee (or compact license)
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with Med/Surg background
• Current BLS certification required
• Travel nursing experience or ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Cardiac Med/Surg setting
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
