Contract | Full-Time | Days | 40 hours/week | Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Minimum 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Completes medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
• Delegates and directs all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring design of functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities
• Participates in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adheres to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintains professional licensure in good standing and fulfills all state-mandated continuing education requirements
• Promotes patient and employee safety through safe patient handling, materials handling, infection control, and adherence to all clinic safety policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing (NC)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Ability to complete documentation and goal writing in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Commitment to maintaining professional licensure and completing all required continuing education

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an outpatient therapy setting
• Familiarity with functional quality indicator assessments and letters of medical necessity
• Experience supervising or mentoring therapy students
