Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic Medical Surgical unit
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or a compact state license
Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
Current BLS certification required
Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced inpatient environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in orthopedic nursing or an orthopedic Medical Surgical unit
Travel nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
