Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts | No call, no weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead a minimum of 2 structured group therapy sessions per day
• Conduct individual 1:1 therapy sessions as clinically indicated
• Administer cognitive assessments when ordered, including MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment), SLUMS (St. Louis University Mental Status Exam), and CPT (Cognitive Performance Testing)
• Document all patient care and clinical notes using EPIC electronic health records
• Apply activity analysis, adaptation, and group therapy techniques within a behavioral health setting

Required Qualifications

• Active OTR/L licensure in the state of Minnesota
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Experience working in a behavioral health or psychiatric therapy setting
• Proficiency with cognitive testing tools: SLUMS, MoCA, and CPT
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
• Must live more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates

• Strong active listening and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Background in psychological principles and group therapy facilitation techniques
